To the West is St.Etienne les Orgues, a bigger village with more commerce (an excellent epicerie and butcher amongst others). This is the lively big sister to Cruis, with a beautiful plane tree shaded main square, with two restaurants, two bars and a good wood ovened pizzeria serving it.

This is the centre of the universe for the boule playing obssesives and they are more than happy for strangers to join in. Like Cruis it has it’s share of fetes and menus through out the summer. This has the closest “hole in the wall”. Market day is Wednesday, small but comprehensive, very socialiable.
